Takes about 3 minutes. Have your CV ready as a PDF.
Job Responsibilities
  • Turn Figma designs into pixel-accurate, responsive, accessible interfaces that behave correctly on a mid-range Android phone on a 3G connection.
  • Build component libraries in React and Next.js with sensible state management and clean prop APIs.
  • Own front-end performance: bundle size, image strategy, lazy loading, Core Web Vitals.
  • Implement WCAG-level accessibility - semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, focus states, ARIA only where needed.
  • Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, handle loading, empty and error states properly.
  • Work directly with designers to flag what will not survive contact with real content.
  • Maintain and improve existing front ends, including older jQuery and Bootstrap codebases.
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field, or equivalent demonstrable ability.
Experience Requirements
  • 2 to 4 years of professional front-end work.
  • Expert HTML, CSS (Flexbox, Grid, custom properties) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Production experience with React; Next.js app router experience preferred.
  • Comfortable with Tailwind or a CSS architecture of your own that you can justify.
  • Familiar with Figma handoff, browser dev tools and Lighthouse.
Additional Requirements
  • You notice when spacing is 2px off, and you also know when to let it go.
  • You test on real devices, not only the desktop responsive simulator.
  • A public portfolio or GitHub with live, working front ends is required.
Salary

Negotiable - based on your skills, experience and the practical assessment. We pay at Kathmandu market rate and review salaries at six months for strong performers.

Compensation & Other Benefits
  • Competitive salary reviewed annually, plus performance-based increments
  • Festival bonus (Dashain/Tihar) and leave encashment as per company policy
  • Provident fund, gratuity and insurance in line with the Nepal Labour Act
  • Five-day working week with flexible start hours; hybrid options for eligible roles
  • Paid annual leave, sick leave and all gazetted public holidays
  • Company-funded certifications, courses and conference passes
  • Modern hardware, licensed tools and a quiet, well-equipped office in Tokha
  • A clear career track with six-monthly reviews - we promote from within first
Read Before Apply

Please apply only if you meet the core requirements listed above.

Attach an updated CV in PDF format and, where relevant, links to your portfolio, GitHub, Behance, Dribbble or live projects - applications for design and engineering roles without work samples are difficult to assess.

Shortlisted candidates are contacted within seven working days for a short introductory call, followed by a practical task (paid for senior roles) and a final interview with the team lead. Sambara Technologies never charges a fee at any stage of hiring and will never ask for payment for training, equipment or placement.
