Job Responsibilities
  • Install, configure and commission CCTV systems - IP and analogue cameras, NVR/DVR, PoE switches and storage.
  • Position cameras for genuine coverage: entry points, blind spots, lighting conditions, licence-plate and face-capture angles.
  • Install and configure access control, biometric attendance, video door phones, alarms and electronic locks.
  • Set up remote viewing, mobile apps, recording schedules, motion zones and retention policies for each client.
  • Run and terminate cabling neatly, with proper trunking, labelling and surge protection.
  • Carry out AMC visits: clean lenses, verify recording, check storage health, replace failing units, and report honestly.
  • Train the client's staff on retrieving and exporting footage - usually when they need it most.
  • Complete site documentation: camera map, IP list, credentials handover and warranty records.
Educational Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering or a related technical field.
  • +2 with relevant hands-on installation experience will also be considered.
Experience Requirements
  • 1 to 4 years installing CCTV or security systems in commercial environments.
  • Familiar with Hikvision, Dahua, CP Plus or equivalent product ranges and their configuration software.
  • Basic networking: IP addressing, PoE, port forwarding, DDNS, VLAN awareness.
  • Confident with hand tools, ladders, drilling, conduit work and working at height safely.
Additional Requirements
  • Two-wheeler licence and own vehicle required; fuel and travel allowance provided.
  • Comfortable with occasional installation work outside office hours to avoid disrupting client operations.
  • You leave a site cleaner than you found it.
Salary

Negotiable - based on your skills, experience and the practical assessment. We pay at Kathmandu market rate and review salaries at six months for strong performers.
