Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver scheduled preventive maintenance visits under annual maintenance contracts across a client portfolio.
  • Be the on-site engineer for breakdowns: computers, printers, network gear, CCTV, UPS and server room basics.
  • Complete and get sign-off on service reports for every visit, with photographs where relevant.
  • Maintain the client asset register - what is installed, its age, warranty status and expected replacement date.
  • Recommend upgrades and replacements before a failure interrupts the client's business.
  • Coordinate with the office team on spares, escalation and follow-up work.
  • Build the client relationship - a good field engineer is why an AMC renews.
Educational Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Electronics or a related field.
Experience Requirements
  • 1 to 4 years in field service, AMC support or IT maintenance.
  • Broad practical knowledge across hardware, Windows, networking and basic CCTV.
  • Experience working to service schedules and documenting visits.
Additional Requirements
  • Two-wheeler licence and own vehicle are mandatory; fuel, travel and mobile allowance provided.
  • Presentable and professional - you represent Sambara inside the client's office.
  • Occasional travel outside Kathmandu Valley with daily allowance.
Salary

Negotiable - based on your skills, experience and the practical assessment. We pay at Kathmandu market rate and review salaries at six months for strong performers.
