Job Responsibilities
  • Run end-to-end recruitment for technical and non-technical roles: job descriptions, sourcing, screening, scheduling, offers and onboarding.
  • Build a genuine talent pipeline through campus relationships, communities and referrals rather than only job portals.
  • Give every candidate a respectful process - reply to applications, keep people informed, and close the loop even on rejections.
  • Own onboarding: paperwork, equipment, accounts, buddy assignment and a 30/60/90 day check-in.
  • Maintain HR records, attendance, leave and payroll inputs accurately and confidentially.
  • Support performance review cycles, training plans and the internal promotion process.
  • Keep policies compliant with the Nepal Labour Act and keep the employee handbook current.
  • Look after culture in practice: team events, feedback channels, and raising problems before they become resignations.
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field. MBA/MBS in HR is a plus.
Experience Requirements
  • 2 to 4 years in HR with meaningful recruitment ownership, preferably in IT or a services company.
  • Experience hiring technical roles and working with hiring managers on realistic requirements.
  • Working knowledge of the Nepal Labour Act, PF, SSF, gratuity and standard HR compliance.
  • Confident with HRIS/ATS tools and spreadsheets.
Additional Requirements
  • Absolute discretion with confidential information.
  • Strong Nepali and English communication, written and spoken.
  • You are organised enough that nothing falls through the cracks during a busy hiring month.
Salary

Negotiable - based on your skills, experience and the practical assessment. We pay at Kathmandu market rate and review salaries at six months for strong performers.

Compensation & Other Benefits
  • Competitive salary reviewed annually, plus performance-based increments
  • Festival bonus (Dashain/Tihar) and leave encashment as per company policy
  • Provident fund, gratuity and insurance in line with the Nepal Labour Act
  • Five-day working week with flexible start hours; hybrid options for eligible roles
  • Paid annual leave, sick leave and all gazetted public holidays
  • Company-funded certifications, courses and conference passes
  • Modern hardware, licensed tools and a quiet, well-equipped office in Tokha
  • A clear career track with six-monthly reviews - we promote from within first
Read Before Apply

Please apply only if you meet the core requirements listed above.

Attach an updated CV in PDF format and, where relevant, links to your portfolio, GitHub, Behance, Dribbble or live projects - applications for design and engineering roles without work samples are difficult to assess.

Shortlisted candidates are contacted within seven working days for a short introductory call, followed by a practical task (paid for senior roles) and a final interview with the team lead. Sambara Technologies never charges a fee at any stage of hiring and will never ask for payment for training, equipment or placement.
