Project Manager (IT & Software Delivery)

  • Baniyatar Height 3, Tokha, Kathmandu - Hybrid (2 days remote)
  • Full-time
  • 3 to 6 year(s)
  • 1 opening
  • Apply by 30th November, 2026
Takes about 3 minutes. Have your CV ready as a PDF.
Job Responsibilities
  • Own delivery for a portfolio of client projects across web, software and IT infrastructure.
  • Turn a signed scope into a plan: milestones, dependencies, resourcing and a realistic critical path.
  • Run the day-to-day rhythm - stand-ups, sprint planning, client check-ins and retrospectives that produce actual changes.
  • Be the single point of truth for status. Escalate risk early, with options, rather than reporting green until it is red.
  • Manage scope changes formally: assess impact, price it, get sign-off. Protect the team from silent scope creep.
  • Keep documentation, timesheets and project tooling current so invoicing and profitability are accurate.
  • Conduct project closure: handover, documentation, warranty period and a lessons-learned review.
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Business or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2 or CSM certification is a strong plus.
Experience Requirements
  • 3 to 6 years managing technology projects, ideally in an agency or services company.
  • Experience with both agile and fixed-scope delivery, and the judgement to know which a client actually needs.
  • Fluent in project tooling: Jira, ClickUp, Asana, Notion or equivalent.
  • Commercial awareness - you understand project margin, not just the schedule.
Additional Requirements
  • Excellent written and spoken English; you will handle overseas client communication.
  • You are firm with clients and protective of your team, without being difficult with either.
  • Technical background or a genuine ability to follow technical discussion is required.
Salary

Negotiable - senior band, based on demonstrated ownership and delivery record. Reviewed at six months, with a performance bonus tied to project delivery.

Compensation & Other Benefits
  • Competitive salary reviewed annually, plus performance-based increments
  • Festival bonus (Dashain/Tihar) and leave encashment as per company policy
  • Provident fund, gratuity and insurance in line with the Nepal Labour Act
  • Five-day working week with flexible start hours; hybrid options for eligible roles
  • Paid annual leave, sick leave and all gazetted public holidays
  • Company-funded certifications, courses and conference passes
  • Modern hardware, licensed tools and a quiet, well-equipped office in Tokha
  • A clear career track with six-monthly reviews - we promote from within first

Please apply only if you meet the core requirements listed above.

Attach an updated CV in PDF format and, where relevant, links to your portfolio, GitHub, Behance, Dribbble or live projects - applications for design and engineering roles without work samples are difficult to assess.

Sambara Technologies never charges a fee at any stage of hiring and will never ask for payment for training, equipment or placement.
