Job Responsibilities
  • Edit short-form vertical video for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, and long-form content for YouTube and client websites.
  • Create motion graphics, animated logos, lower thirds, kinetic typography and explainer animations.
  • Handle the full post-production chain: cut, colour, sound mix, subtitles in Nepali and English, export presets per platform.
  • Shoot on location for client interviews, product shots and event coverage when required.
  • Manage project files, footage archives and backups so nothing is ever lost.
  • Work to a content calendar and turn edits around quickly without letting quality slide.
Educational Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Film, Media, Animation, Design or a related field, or a portfolio that speaks for itself.
Experience Requirements
  • 1 to 4 years editing commercial or client video.
  • Fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; DaVinci Resolve or CapCut welcome as supporting tools.
  • A showreel is required - send a link with your application.
  • Basic camera, lighting and audio recording skills.
Additional Requirements
  • You understand pacing - you know exactly where a viewer drops off and you cut before they do.
  • 3D (Blender / Cinema 4D) or AI video tooling experience is a bonus.
  • Occasional evening or weekend shoots, compensated with time off in lieu.
Salary

Negotiable - based on your skills, experience and the practical assessment. We pay at Kathmandu market rate and review salaries at six months for strong performers.
