SEO Specialist

  • Full-time
  • 2 to 4 year(s)
  • 2 openings
  • Apply by 31st October, 2026
Takes about 3 minutes. Have your CV ready as a PDF.
Job Responsibilities
  • Own technical, on-page and off-page SEO for a portfolio of client websites across Nepal and overseas markets.
  • Run full technical audits (Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexation, structured data, hreflang) and turn findings into a prioritised fix list developers can act on.
  • Do keyword and intent research, build topic clusters and brief writers on what each page must answer.
  • Optimise page titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking and schema markup.
  • Plan and execute ethical link-building and digital PR - no PBNs, no bought links.
  • Manage local SEO: Google Business Profile, citations, review generation and location landing pages for our 16 service cities.
  • Report monthly on rankings, organic traffic, conversions and revenue impact in plain language the client understands.
  • Keep up with algorithm updates and the shift to AI answer engines (AEO/GEO), and adjust our playbooks accordingly.
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, IT, Communications or a related field.
  • Candidates from any academic background will be considered if they can demonstrate results on live sites.
  • Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads certifications are an advantage.
Experience Requirements
  • 2 to 4 years of hands-on SEO experience, agency-side preferred.
  • Proven case studies: sites you moved, the keywords you ranked, the traffic and conversions that followed.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs or SEMrush.
  • Comfortable reading HTML, understanding page speed reports and briefing developers precisely.
  • Experience with e-commerce or multi-location SEO is a plus.
Additional Requirements
  • You can explain why a page ranks - not just that it does.
  • Excellent written English; Nepali fluency required for local client work.
  • You are comfortable being measured on outcomes, not activity.
Salary

Negotiable - based on your skills, experience and the practical assessment. We pay at Kathmandu market rate and review salaries at six months for strong performers.

Compensation & Other Benefits
  • Competitive salary reviewed annually, plus performance-based increments
  • Festival bonus (Dashain/Tihar) and leave encashment as per company policy
  • Provident fund, gratuity and insurance in line with the Nepal Labour Act
  • Five-day working week with flexible start hours; hybrid options for eligible roles
  • Paid annual leave, sick leave and all gazetted public holidays
  • Company-funded certifications, courses and conference passes
  • Modern hardware, licensed tools and a quiet, well-equipped office in Tokha
  • A clear career track with six-monthly reviews - we promote from within first
